Apartment Hotel YAEZAKI

The rooftop onsen was a real highlight, with a lovely view and atmosphere. Its outdoor washing area can get extremely cold in winter, so I’d shower in the room first. The new serviced apartment style hotel was spotless and well maintained, and the staff were warm, polite, and helpful. A few things could be better: the mattress felt too firm for us, and despite the plates, pans, pots, and cooking utensils, there were no spoons. The bath edge at the onsen is quite sharp. My younger brother sat on it by accident and scraped his leg, drawing a little blood that stained the towel. It could be dangerous for children or older guests. Still, it’s a comfortable place with thoughtful facilities and kind service.
