Living CUBE BEPPU

Getting into the house was a frustrating start. We had to upload everyone’s passport information to get the room key password, but the host didn’t tell us about this until arrival day. At 6 PM, we called the emergency number from outside the door and got instructions, but it took at least an hour before we could enter. I understand that Japanese law requires information to be reported; the problem was not being told about the check-in process in advance. It left a very bad impression, and the handling was poor. The parking space was extremely narrow. Once the car was in, the iron gate couldn’t be closed, so we had to use the parking space assigned to another room. The kitchen had only table knives, no cooking knife, and just three cooking utensils. There was no cooking oil or soy sauce. The house has two floors. The living room, toilet, and rest area were fine, but it was cold, and the heater didn’t make the place very warm. There was also a foul smell around the first-floor shower and washing machine.
