The room was coming apart, and our “nightstand” actually broke off the wall. The floors were covered in nasty stains that might include mold, and the carpeting was disgusting. Reception also wasn't friendly or understanding. Checkout is at 10am, but after we'd spent 450 yen on laundry, we asked for another half hour to dry our clothes and were told it would cost 1000 yen. With conditions this bad, you'd think they'd allow a little flexibility. This place is disgusting even for a budget hotel, and I don't see how it passes health inspections. Go somewhere else, even if this is the cheapest option.

I was given a room full of cigarette smell. I'm very sensitive to it and already have a headache. I asked to move, but they said there wasn't another room. Even with the window and door open, I can't deal with it. I'm exhausted, so I may leave anyway. If smoke doesn't bother you, I guess it could be fine. I'm visiting a friend, though, and otherwise can't see why someone would choose to come here. Getting here is awkward too: you have to walk on the road from the station because there are no sidewalks, which feels dangerous, though I don't really blame the hotel for that.

The room was spotless and had a stunning view. What made me write my first review, though, was the staff. Their service really stayed with me.

For what it costs, this hotel is too expensive. The hotel and the furniture are dirty.
