This was my second stay during the Chichibu Festival, and I'd like to come back someday. Even with the festival keeping things busy, the price was affordable. The staff were so polite, friendly, and considerate. They helped with things like a baby food set and a microwave, and the female staff member was lovely with my child. We got back late from the festival, and getting my child to bed took a while, so I missed bath time. The staff kindly let me enjoy a long bath anyway. I hadn't had a proper long bath alone since giving birth, and it made me really happy. Breakfast was tasty and well balanced, and a can of beer was only 300 yen. So cheap! A couple of small things: hand soap was only on the first floor, so I had to go downstairs each time from our second-floor room. Breakfast starts first thing in the morning, so some of it is served cold. The hot rice and miso soup come after you sit down.
