The food was fantastic, and both the staff and the setting were lovely.

My room had a great view when I woke up. I couldn’t find a place to stay in Yonago city over Golden Week, so I booked a room only here. I’m used to shared toilets and bathrooms, and the toilets were very clean. The shower pressure was fine too. There were lots of hikers around that season, and they were up and moving early, lol. The front desk is on the second floor, with rooms on the third and fourth floors up stairs. There’s a microwave on the fourth floor.

We had the Mountain Climber's Corner Limited Bonus Package, so breakfast and dinner were included, along with tasty hiking rice balls to take as snacks. Dinner was the Genghis Khan BBQ Meal, with lamb, wild boar, and wild chicken. It was a huge, delicious feast. Breakfast the next day was just as good, a proper Japanese meal that set us up for a hike. This is an old-fashioned ryokan, not modern, but very reasonably priced. Since there were only two of us that day, the owner even upgraded our room. Date: 20251005.

I used this service for my climb up Mt. Oyama. They prepared rice balls for breakfast and snacks. They were a bit salty, but I was glad to have them. Thanks very much.
