Yumoto Meisuitei

The village is small, but it works well as a central base for driving to the nearby sights. There's also a free public onsen just a three-minute walk away. We had a wonderful night at the Yamada family's guesthouse. The hosts were warm and attentive, and gave us welcome tea, snacks, and breakfast. Our room was spacious, with a fridge, toaster, and microwave available in the hallway. We'd highly recommend it for a warm, welcoming stay.

It was a quiet spot surrounded by nature, and the owners' attention to detail was excellent. We brought our large dog, and the animal-loving family treated us so well. The room and bedding were beautifully arranged, and breakfast was delicious. It felt like a wonderful stay for the price, and I'd definitely come back.

There aren't any shops or other commercial places nearby, so it's best to buy food and drinks ahead of time. The staff are very friendly, and the accommodation has the feel of a traditional Japanese country house. You can use the village public hot spring until 9 PM. It's about a five-minute walk from your room, so if you want to go, I'd get there before 8 PM.

The room was clean and tidy, and there were two free hot springs nearby. The host was very welcoming and friendly. In the evening, my family felt a bit hot, so we asked the host for a fan. Breakfast in the morning was simple but delicious. Thanks so much for the hospitality! The one drawback was the room's so-so soundproofing. Guests in the other two rooms chatted in English until midnight.
