Kichinya Yagoro - Hostel

I loved the atmosphere of the traditional Japanese wooden interior, with a clean, modern touch designed by the owner Ko-san. It's in a great spot for sightseeing around the area, surfing, and windsurfing. The friendly staff have lots of interesting stories and connections of their own, so take time to explore those. The cat is a bit shy, so don't expect to hug her during your stay. I'll definitely be back for my windsurfing camp. Thanks Ko san and Hari san!

A nice place for solo or group travellers, close to a religious shrine, the bay, other attractions, and everyday amenities.

Clean, really pleasant, and the staff were friendly. I liked it enough to stay overnight. :)

“Please have two people share one sleeping space, a capsule-style bed about the size of one tatami mat. Didn't you read the email?” This was the first guesthouse where I've ever run into something like that. Few adults would want to sleep in that room. The email itself was hard to understand and didn't even seem to match our accommodation plan. We weren't the only ones affected. Other guests had similar problems that same day. Travel is supposed to be enjoyable, and I hope fewer people have to deal with disappointing accommodation like this. I've never taken the time to leave a low rating before, but I'm writing in the hope that it prevents others from going through the same thing. I hope the travel agency improves its unclear instructions and emails.
