The view of Mt Fuji is amazing, and breakfast is great if you're happy to pay a little extra. The shuttle to the station is really convenient, and there's free wifi, luggage forwarding, laundry, and a certified onsen on site. This is traditional Japanese lodging, with super attentive staff who took care of everything we could ask for while still giving us privacy. If you want corporate-style lodging where you never interact with the staff, this probably isn't for you. You'd miss the benefits of a more intimate Japanese experience.

The place felt like a home away from home, a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy a side of Japan beyond the big cities. We spent three nights at the Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel, and would love to return if we get the chance. It was extremely clean, tidy, and well maintained. The location was convenient for walking to many popular sights, with a bus stop nearby for going farther. The host and all the staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles and making us feel welcome. Thank you, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel, for taking such good care of us.

I was deeply touched by the owner's kindness. After I checked out today, I accidentally left my phone behind at the hotel, and the owner drove all the way to the station to return it. Such warm hospitality. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I visit. Highly recommended.

The onsen inside the hotel was clean, hot, and wonderfully relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and served with care. Our room looked out at a beautiful view of Mt Fuji, and the hotel is handy for lots of activities and sights. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel. The owner collected us from the train station and helpfully pointed out attractions and restaurants. Service was attentive too. We asked for a humidifier, and it was quickly brought up and set up in our room. A delightful, relaxing stay!

Masa made us feel welcome right away, explaining everything clearly and greeting us with tea and snacks. He kindly picked us up from the bus station when we arrived and dropped us off when we checked out. The room was peaceful, clean, and comfortable, with a spectacular view of Mount Fuji from the window. We were lucky to have such beautiful weather. The onsen was spotless and relaxing, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious. The lady who served it was incredibly kind and sweet. We had a wonderful stay at Lakeside Kawaguchi and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We hope we can come back someday. Arigatō gozaimasu!! 🙏✨
