The home was well equipped and had free parking, and the price was great. We had a fabulous stay, with a wonderful host and a beautiful view. I'd highly recommend it. A rental car might be useful here, but you can manage without one if needed.

The kitchen has everything you need, and there's a fresh food supermarket nearby, so cooking for yourself is easy. On a clear day you can see the summit of Mount Fuji from the second-floor living room. This is a top pick for independent travelers visiting Mount Fuji, and the price is quite affordable.

The view of Mount Fuji is fantastic, and the house should fit up to 10 people. There are three bedrooms downstairs, with the living room, bathroom, and toilet upstairs. Phone and email support was polite, and they can help in English. Check-out is at 10am; an extra 30 minutes costs 1000 yen. There's an almost excessive supply of dishes and cooking gear, including large frying pans, pots, and cups. Because of COVID-19 precautions, there are no condiments, and the paper supplies, especially kitchen paper, might not be enough. A cheap supermarket is nearby, so that wasn't a problem. The washing machine is a regular top-loader, but there's no dryer. If you need one, there's a coin laundry about a 5-minute walk away. You can hang some clothes on the balcony, but there's little room indoors to dry them. The bedroom closet isn't suitable for that.
