If you have a car, this is one of the best hotels you can book in Japan. The building is very modern, the rooms are spacious, and the view is really nice.

The slippers indoors left my feet really cold, and the bathroom got quite wet. The foot mats provided with them didn’t absorb much, so I’d suggest adding more mats there. Other than that, the value was good. They supplied pots, pans, dishes, and laundry balls for washing clothes.

The only downside was some noise at night from the road right beside the apartment. Still, being surrounded by nature made it an incredible place to sleep, and the experience more than made up for the noise. It was clean and super spacious, and I’d definitely recommend it if you want to explore the areas around Mount Fuji.

Traveling around locally seems easier with a car. On checkout day I booked a taxi to Kawaguchiko Station, but it hadn’t arrived by the agreed time. I really appreciated the housekeeping staff calling the taxi company to check on it ☺️. There are several restaurants and some great places to explore within a five-minute walk. The facilities were complete, though a few stray insects unfortunately wandered inside.
