Fukui Phoenix Hotel

The staff were friendly, and the hotel still feels renovated, which makes it a good modern choice in Fukui. A lot of the business hotels here seem very dated, so I think this is probably the best one. Just note that parking isn't free. Nearby lots cost 500-1100 for 24 hours, depending on how far you're willing to walk.

I'm looking for any kind of hand case job at your hotel. If you have an opening, please let me know. I need your help.

Good breakfast, with plenty of room and an affordable price.

The location is good, but this stay had quite a few mishaps. The staff said the power cut out because our room shared electricity with the one next door. It came back after about three minutes, but I was left in the dark with my hair still wet and had to use my phone's flashlight. The outage happened while I was using the hairdryer, which really surprised me. I've never had that happen at a hotel before. We were staying several nights, so we had the room cleaned. When we came back, there was a half-empty plastic bottle that wasn't ours. Cleaning staff, please check for things left behind before you finish. The room itself was clean, though it felt dark even with the lights on, and there weren't many outlets, which was inconvenient. The hotel also seems a little old. 😅
