I was shocked that several colleagues were turned away from breakfast, even though it was included on our hotel confirmation and the invoice had been paid well in advance. They had no breakfast vouchers because the hotel hadn't issued them at check-in the day before. With early flights and a tight schedule, being refused breakfast was humiliating and frustrating, and they had a lot of trouble communicating with staff. As the event organiser, I found this highly embarrassing and shocking from a Japanese company. The hotel didn't call me, the group organiser, to clarify what had happened. It also failed to give vouchers to the guests whose breakfasts were fully paid, then refused to honor its own confirmation, even though we had payment notifications, invoices, and email correspondence showing the hotel had made a mistake. The check-in setup was also poorly suited to our group of 73 arriving at once. There was only self check-in, and getting everyone through took ages. The hotel should have expected a large group at the same time, but did nothing to improve the customer experience. Not excellent at all.

The breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were comfy. The front desk staff were friendly, nice, and good-looking (〃'▽'〃), and helped us with check-in and check-out. Such a convenient location and great service!

The rooms are quite small, but they're well equipped. There's a self-service laundry with a washer and dryer, and no detergent needed. It's a very nice hotel about 1 km on foot from Tenjin station. As is usual in Japan, the workers were extremely nice and helpful, though they spoke little English. Breakfast was super good and Japanese-style, with a small selection of items Western travelers may know better. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We're still checked in, and the room is very clean with good AC. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby has a money changer machine that's very convenient to use. Breakfast buffet is delicious, though they serve the same food every day. The beef stew is our favorite, and the coffee tastes good.

The best thing about the location is how close it is to the subway, about a five-minute walk, with plenty of convenience stores nearby. I didn't try breakfast, though it looked good. If you don't smoke, make sure you book a non-smoking room. Otherwise, the tobacco smell can make you feel dizzy.
