Fukuoka Guest House Jikka

It’s a little guesthouse, and the small shared space means you pretty much end up making friends with everyone. That gave it a real at-home feeling, and I had an amazing stay. The owner was so friendly and always smiling 🥰❤️ Thank you

The four-woman dorm on the third floor is very small, and you have to use the stairs. I’d say it’s better for someone traveling with a light backpack or staying just one night than for someone with big luggage. I did like the free mineral water, coffee, tea and snacks, though. I can’t complain, I got what I paid for.

The owner and her helpful staff made me feel at home, with friendly welcomes and local tips whenever I needed them. Jikka is small, clean and well organized, with the feel of staying with a friendly family. It’s a good fit for solo travelers or couples who want a personal hostel stay. The guest house is right in the heart of Fukouka, handy for the attractions, restaurants and cafes, and the owner has been running it for years. I had a memorable time there and would recommend Jikka to anyone after a place with character and a homely feel.

The cozy feel and warm welcome at Jikka Guest House made it feel like home from the moment I arrived. My time in Fukuoka was unforgettable, and I’ll definitely come back on my next visit.
