Grandcabin Tenjin Minami

Grand Cabin Tenjin Minami sits between Hakata Station and Tenjin Station, and its modern, recently built setup is geared toward solo travelers. The 48 rooms were built in 2020, and children aren’t allowed to stay free. It offers more privacy and comfort than a standard capsule pod, though noise can still be an issue. Someone above you or on the other side of a wall may toss and turn through the night.

The location is a big plus: Yakuin Station, Mo's Burger, a supermarket and cosmetics shop are all close together. McDonald's and Doutor are nearby too, with a 7-Eleven a couple of blocks away, along with cafes, Matsukiyo, ramen places, and other drugstores. There’s a vending machine in the lobby, but no cafe on site. Luggage storage there is self-service. I paid ₱2088 a night through Agoda. For the area, this was the best option I found, with a small private room that had a closet, bin, vanity and door. I had a bottom bunk, and sleepwear, towels and slippers were supplied daily. The place stayed quiet, and both staff and guests were polite and followed the rules. Everyone has to leave from 10am to 3pm for cleaning, but bags and luggage can stay in the room. The shower area had all the usual cleansing items, including oils, wash, cotton and lotion, while each shower stall had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The staff were extremely rude。 I was first told I could get a refund for the night, then told by phone that it wasn't possible. The person said it in an unbelievably rude tone. Edit: Their response is complete nonsense. I had spoken to a female staff member earlier, and she was the rudest hotel staff member I've ever encountered.

Super clean facilities and a great capsule hotel for the price.
