I booked through Agoda and was happy with the stay. The room was surprisingly spacious for a hotel in Japan, and the place felt cozy and cool. They offer free beer from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, and there’s even free use of a photobooth, which is great for a souvenir! The train station is a two-minute walk away, with easy access to major spots. There are also lots of good restaurants and convenience stores nearby. 🥰💖

It’s a pretty standard business hotel, so don’t expect much room. Getting around is easy, with Nakasukawabata station only minutes away and plenty of food options and convenient transport close by. It’s still some distance from the Nakasu red light district, which should be fine for people concerned about that.

The room was much larger than I expected, but a few things left a bad impression. The refrigerator was set to the lowest setting, yet it froze my drinks and food. The hotel apparently cleans rooms only once a week, not daily or even every two days, unless you pay extra for cleaning. Is that healthy? Also, when I asked a male staff member in the morning to call a taxi, he said taxis were busy and it would take time. I used the Go-taxi app instead, and one arrived in five minutes at most. 👎👎

I’m very unhappy with the lost room key policy. Charging 9000 yen for a replacement is ridiculous. The shower amenities are subpar too. The shower sponge looks like the kind you use to wash dishes.
