For anyone doing laundry, there are two machines behind the check-in desk. A wash costs 400¥, and the dryer is 300¥ for 30 minutes. You can scan a QR code and pay cashless through an app. There’s a laundry basket and a one-seat stool, or maybe a tiny table, to put your things on. Hope that helps!

The location in Tenjin is the main draw, close to the station, shopping, and restaurants. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the rooms were clean. There were quite a few downsides: the rooms are small, with little space to open luggage, and the elevator is slow. Bathroom ventilation is weak, the window view is poor, and the lights are very dim. There aren’t many plugs, and we could hear banging through the thin walls. Front desk service was inconsistent too, sometimes nice and sometimes cold. Still, it’s an ideal spot for staying in Fukuoka.

They charged 3000 yen for a missing keycard. That’s a crazy fee. I won’t be back.

The twin room was very cramped and had several hazards. There was no complimentary bottled water, and the step into the bathroom made me trip a few times. The bathtub was also so high that even at 170cm tall, I had trouble stepping over it. Be careful booking through Agoda: it said I could cancel free before 22 June 25, but when I tried on 13 Mar 25, they wanted a 50% penalty. My request to cancel without a fee was rejected.
