The Hotels Hakata Kasane Bayside

The room was clean and small, but still easy enough to live in, and I loved having a balcony with a harbor view. On the higher floors the rooms are deluxe, with a microwave and washing machine. The bed was really comfortable. The price does go up and down, but for what I paid it was a great deal. I'd stay here again.

The location worked well for me, just a five-minute walk to the International Conference Center, though shopping areas and good restaurants were about 25 minutes away on foot. Rooms are smaller than what I'm used to in Myanmar, but they're tidy and laid out well. Breakfast came with Japanese-style rice balls and vegetables, though the portions were small. There was no coffee or drinking water in the room. The live music during breakfast was a nice fit.

There’s a Lawson close by, which came in handy, and I found the free breakfast decent and pleasant. The room felt fairly roomy by Japanese hotel standards, and the bed was comfortable. The nearest station is a bit of a walk, so taking the bus is probably easier.

It’s a great spot for the conference, and the staff were helpful. I was comfortable in the room, and I especially enjoyed having breakfast alongside the other guests.
