There's a simple breakfast included each day. The lobby also has basic amenities, plus washing machines, dryers, and drink vending machines. Tenjin Station is only a few minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby.

The one elevator didn't bother me while I was on vacation and in no hurry. What I really appreciated was how friendly the service was, and they even lent me an umbrella when it was raining. For the price, there are a lot of amenities, and the area is very convenient. The breakfast buffet is all-you-can-eat every day, with a full spread including mentaiko roe, rice, soup, salad, and more. They also have thoughtful extras like bathrobes, facial care items, and filtered water for refilling a bottle. I loved my stay at Toyoko Inn and would happily stay there again when I visit Fukuoka.

We got what we paid for, and the room was small but fine. The frustrating part was that my son had no pillow. There were only two in the room, and when we asked for another, they said they were out of stock. We asked for extra towels to use as a pillow, and were charged 100 YEN each. Unbelievable!

The hotel has just finished renovations, and the facilities are good. Breakfast was nice, with Japanese-style food, and there are a few free parking spaces. It's well located for a business trip. I'd use it again if I get another chance to visit Fukuoka.

There is just one elevator for all 12 floors, with 10 rooms on each floor. Everyone has to use it, so waits can reach five minutes or more.
