The staff were so kind and friendly that we felt well looked after. Our room was cozy and a good size for two friends to hang out comfortably, without having to sit on the bed. Breakfast was the highlight. It was home cooked, with a different meal each day, and there was toast and cereal to help yourself to if you wanted more. We could also choose tea, milk, orange juice, or coffee. You have to switch into indoor slippers before going in, and the shoe changing and storage spot near the entrance could get smelly. It didn’t seem to have ventilation, so adding some to clear the odor would make the arrival area more pleasant. I hope the feedback helps. Apart from that, I really enjoyed my stay.

I had a really nice stay. The hosts were friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and the rooms were a good size. The slopes were about a five minute walk uphill, with a Lawson around five minutes down the street. I took the lavender bus from Asahikawa airport to Hotel Naturwald.

Mick and Mamiko were so welcoming and friendly, and their tips were helpful. We spent five nights at this lovely inn and enjoyed our time there a lot. Highly recommend.

The room was large, and breakfast was great. There’s a pleasant seating area where guests can get together for happy hour. The bathroom was a bit small but worked fine, and restaurants and the lifts are an easy walk away. Staff were friendly too.
