The host was kind and very helpful, and the house was clean and tidy. We spent four nights here while enjoying Okinawa. The kitchen is large and the refrigerator is a good size, and the bathroom is roomy too. There’s plenty of equipment in the house, plus a parking space right in front. The location worked well for us, with a convenience store and McDonald’s within walking distance, Aeon mall about a 10-minute drive away, and the motorway about five minutes away. There are supermarkets and restaurants around too. A lovely BnB, highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The QR codes in the room pointed to tasty local restaurants and supermarkets, and there was a welcome drink and a face mask, a thoughtful touch. The owner was easy to communicate with beforehand. I stayed three nights in a stylish Ginowan B&B after getting a little tired of Naha. The blue and white interior was lovely, but still felt relaxing, like visiting a friend’s home. There was a kitchen, microwave, and washing machine in the room. Ginowan also made it easy to head north in Okinawa, where I even tried a sauna for the first time, and enjoy the island differently from how I had in Naha. January in Okinawa is a hidden gem, I really recommend it.

The hosts kept checking that we were doing well, and the staff were so friendly and kind. I was lucky to choose Sunstone Residence. The facilities made the stay comfortable and convenient, giving us a different kind of travel experience. The hosts had made weather dolls, and they seemed to work wonders. It usually rains more than 90% of the week, but we only got a short shower one afternoon. I definitely want to come back. The kitchenware, dishes, and cups they provided were all new and clean, so please handle them with care!
