Having the Coin Laundry right in the hotel was a really welcome surprise. We'd planned to use one nearby, so that was handy while travelling around Japan. The onsen was small but lovely, and helped ease our tiredness. I could wash up, take a cold shower, then relax with another soak. We slept well in a comfortable room that was big enough for our large rucksacks, and the temperature felt just right. Staff were friendly at check-in; we didn't need much help, but I imagine they'd have been glad to assist. The location worked perfectly as a base after taking the Resort Shirakami and before the Stove Train, with Kizukuri Station as a bonus to see. Goshogawara Station is just a 4-5 minute walk away, and there's a Lawson and a 7-Eleven a few minutes in opposite directions. We stayed for two nights in mid-February.

The room was okay, with air conditioning and enough space for one, and the staff were really friendly and tried their best to help. Still, a few things need fixing. The receipt can't include a company name, address, or VAT number, which isn't acceptable for a hotel and won't work for me going forward. There are only Japanese-style sockets, with no universal outlets or adapters. And getting the next day's breakfast ticket means going to reception every evening, which felt really odd.

The staff made the stay. They were so nice and always ready to help, thank you! I’d definitely come back. I stayed one night, and the room was clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning, an air cleaner, and all the amenities I needed. The TV worked too.
