We traveled with friends, and the large, conveniently laid-out rooms worked perfectly for our group. Although we didn’t use the pet facilities, on-site café, or sauna, that didn’t take away from our stay. The hotel and its facilities exceeded our expectations, and we were very satisfied. The view of Mt. Fuji from our room was impeccable, one of the key reasons we chose the hotel. Its modern, clean facilities lived up to their reputation, and the staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The living area was spacious and well designed. edit x sevenGotemba Fuji made for a comfortable stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The transport situation was the main drawback. The location is great for seeing Mt Fuji, but public transit is limited. There’s a shuttle to Gotemba Premium Outlet, about a 10-minute walk, but elsewhere it usually takes a taxi. When I asked the front desk to call one, they suggested a taxi app, which was inconvenient because it needed SMS verification on my overseas SIM. I was glad I rented a car on the second day, since it made exploring Gotemba much easier. I’d happily stay again, especially with a car. I stayed two nights and loved waking up to the Mt Fuji view. The hotel has been newly opened since September 2025, and everything felt modern, fresh, and thoughtfully designed. Little things stood out, like power outlets with USB-A and USB-C all over the place, even in the café, sensor lights at the toilet and entrance, and an in-room washer-dryer combo. The mattress was a pleasant surprise, just right for me compared with the firm beds in many Japanese hotels. The sofa looked stylish but didn’t offer much back support.

Waking up to the stunning Mount Fuji view made the stay unforgettable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed, and the location offered a peaceful atmosphere while still being convenient for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, always ready to help. Their attentive service made the stay smooth and enjoyable. Edit x Seven Fuji Gotemba exceeded my expectations, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a remarkable Mount Fuji view.

I stayed with friends for several days in late January. The rooms and balconies were much bigger than you’d usually get at Japanese hotels, with direct views of Mount Fuji. Having a washing machine in the room was convenient too. The place was very clean and the rooms were spacious.
