The building is old, but the staff’s warm welcome is a big part of this hotel’s appeal. I picked it for its reputation for being thoroughly cleaned and good value. It’s handy for both Fukue Port and the town center, too. My room felt surprisingly relaxing, and I was able to rest and shake off my tiredness. If you enjoy a traditional, homey feel, I’d recommend it.

The front desk left the strongest impression on me, and I’m glad I stayed here. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Fukue Port, so going out for dinner is easy. There’s no elevator, but that wasn’t an issue for me. The price is low for this area, too.

The staff greeted me with a smile whenever I came or went, which made the stay really pleasant. My room was simple but clean and looked after, with all the basics I needed. I stayed two nights on business and found the price reasonable. My only gripe was the shower: the water ran too hot, so I had to mix in cold water. I’d stay again if work brings me back to Fukue.

It’s a walk from the port, though still manageable, and there are covered shopping arcades and izakayas nearby. The building is old and has no elevator. The hospitality has that old-fashioned travel feel. The hotel itself doesn’t offer shopping or dining.

The staff were friendly and I felt comfortable during my stay. The place isn’t new, but it’s kept in good shape, and being near the port is handy. I’d book it again for a work trip to Fukue.
