For a 3 star hotel, I thought this was definitely good value. The rooms were nice, though there isn't a shower in them, so you use the communal one, which was great. It's about a 15 minute walk, so the location gets 10/10 from me. Staff were great from the moment we arrived, explaining the shuttle times. I think lift tickets were discounted by 50%, and evening tickets had a discount too. The dinner buffet tasted good, with a lot on offer after a night of skiing or snowboarding, even if the presentation wasn't the best by Japan's standards.

It's the closest place to Dynaland Ski resort, convenient and reasonably priced, with a decent public bath open late. I lowered my score because the male receptionist who was meant to welcome guests came across as impolite and not customer-oriented. I hope things go better next time.

The hotel is a little dated, but it was good enough. Dinner and breakfast buffets were good, and the onsen was alright too. It's just down the road from Dyanaland ski resort, and the shuttle to Takasu snowpark stops at the hotel.

They said our room had been cancelled by us, but then found us a similar one as a replacement. The room was good quality, and the staff were friendly.

The staff were all very polite, and there were some nice extras for families: welcome drinks, cookies, and a make-your-own popcorn machine that kids will like. We stayed over New Year's and would come back, especially at the reasonable rate of 20,000 yen per person per night. The hotel is old, but has been renovated enough that it wasn't a problem. Guest rooms don't have baths, and the large communal bath has no open-air section. There are lockers in the basement for ski gear. The walls felt a little thin, and I could hear people in the hallway, so I assume room noise carries out to some extent. The food was satisfying overall, with several dessert options. Alcohol costs extra. Dinner included sushi, horse sashimi, roast beef, kushikatsu, and other things. Breakfast had sashimi and more. There's a parking booth outside that charges ski resort visitors, but parking is free if you tell them you're a hotel guest. Dynaland Ski Resort is within walking distance, and a free shuttle runs there often. There's also a bus to Takasu Snow Park, but it doesn't run often, so check the timetable. Discounted lift tickets are sold at the front desk.
