The food was the standout for me, every course from the appetizer to dessert tasted fresh and great. The owners were also so kind and helped us with all kinds of things, including transport and pain relief patches. They made us feel really welcome. This is the best pension I've stayed at. If you're traveling around, give it a try!

Even with the rain, we had a lovely, memorable summer night here. The room was spacious, clean, and had its own bathroom. The hosts were so welcoming and down to earth, and Jack the dog was part of the warm welcome too. We found this place by chance and loved it. The cozy feel, hospitality, and delicious food made it a real gem. We'd come back in a heartbeat to explore Hachimantai in autumn or spring. Thank you!

A friendly couple run this cozy, authentic place with their dog Jack. It's handy for Appi Ski Resort, and we had a very nice room and food. I was glad to find Baeren beer here too. Can definitely recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and cozy, and Jack is such a friendly dog. The owners were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to find us tire chains. Wonderful hospitality.

We were very happy with our room. It was lovely and so clean there wasn't a speck of dust, and a gentle fragrance made it feel especially relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, with the tongue stew being a real favorite. The owners were kind, and their cute dog was a joy. They even came outside to see us off in the rain, which we really appreciated. We stayed one night on a family trip and would definitely return when we're next in Appi.
