The room was huge and had modern facilities, but the view from it was really poor. The public bath has limited hours, closing at midnight and opening again at 6:00am. Drink service in the lounge is sparse, and having to pay for nespresso is a shame. I paid 26,000¥ for a weekend stay with dinner and breakfast buffet through Rakuten Travel, using a coupon. Even at a lower rate than other dates, I didn’t find the price very reasonable for the dinner buffet quality and service. The service was no more than I expected.

The rooftop onsen/spa is roomy and very nice, with several tubs and an outdoor one. There’s underground parking with direct access, plus free open Wi-Fi. The building feels old-fashioned but well kept, with traditional touches alongside modern ones. The room was large, with western beds and a Japanese living room with tatami floor and futons.

We went with our family in August 2020 and enjoyed it a lot. The kids loved the outdoor pool, which was amazing in the summer heat, and later we used the onsen inside the facilities. The restaurant was helpful too, since we could eat tasty local cuisine without going anywhere. We’d visit again and again.

We went during Golden Week. I love Harvest Club resorts, and this was the third location I’ve visited. The mountain-side view from the bath is amazing, though its outdoor section is quite small and narrow. There’s a large outdoor pool area too, which my family would have loved, but it wasn’t open for the season yet.

A quiet, pleasant hotel for relaxing, with a nice onsen, good breakfast, and a massage machine. Getting around isn’t easy, though. There’s only one shuttle an hour, and if it’s full, you have to take the local bus to gora st. for 500 yen per ride.
