Chateau Lausanne

The little common area was a nice place to unwind and chat with other guests at the end of the day, and the rooms were clean, a decent size, with comfortable beds. We had a great four nights at Chateau Lausanne, which is well placed for skiing, near the first bus stops for the morning pickups. The owners make hot baked breakfasts to order as you come downstairs, and Rob and Yoshi were kind and ready to help with all sorts of things. Would recommend this bed and breakfast.

We had the cozy room we wanted, with its own bathroom, plus free breakfast and really warm hospitality from the lovely couple who own and run Chateau Lausanne. Echoland's center is about an eight-minute walk away, and the mountains are a short drive. There's a drying room for ski gear, a small lounge with games and tea, and a few parking spaces. Thanks for everything, Rob and Yoshi. We'd love to return.

The hosts were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast was great every morning. Our room was warm, with a drying room for ski gear. It's a five-minute walk to the shops and restaurants in Echoland.

The family running the place were great, and the rooms were a good size. The bath looks small, though two small people can fit in it 😁. Breakfast is Western style. A Japanese option would be nice, but since we were the first to ask, it may not be practical. Ask the night before and you might get lucky :). The beds felt a bit springy and uncomfortable, but we still slept. It was quiet in the evenings, with what seemed like an older crowd staying there. There isn't laundry on site, so having to take it into Ecoland was a bit of a pain, about a ten-minute walk. We'd stay again.
