Staying at Gallery & Lodge Noichigo felt like being at a close friend's home, which I loved. The lodge is in the quiet, peaceful wadano area, but it’s still convenient for getting around Hakuba. My room was clean and well kept, and it was a cozy, stylish place to relax after a long day on the slopes. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, sharing local tips and making sure things went smoothly. They helped me arrange rental gear, showed me a shortcut to sakka, and even booked a taxi for checkout. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Hakuba for skiing or just to enjoy the area.

Maki and her parents have been running the lodge for more than 45 years, and their kindness and hospitality are on another level. Sakka slope is just a five-minute walk away. Staying here was one of my best decisions in Hakuba, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying around Happo.

I had a blast during my last four nights at Gallery & Lodge Noichigo. It’s right beside Happo One ski resort, and the view is incredible. Makiko is a warm-hearted host with great recommendations that made my ski trip in Hakuba even better.

I felt like I was staying in my family home. The owners are welcoming and kind, speak English very well, and are genuinely helpful if you need information. My room was simple but comfortable, and I enjoyed the view of the falling snow. The lodge has a really cozy Japanese atmosphere, and I recommend it if you want that experience. It’s not far from the ski slopes, but I’d suggest having a car to get to the city center more conveniently, unless you like walking.
