The apartment had amazing mountain views from the window, along with a washing machine and stovetop appliances. We had the two-bedroom place with a kitchen and Japanese cedar bath. The rooms are dated, but comfortable, warm and spacious. The manager was extremely helpful with taxi requests and restaurant suggestions. Hotel Cultured is conveniently placed in the Hakuba Valley, a short walk from echoland, with a shuttle bus right outside that goes to all the ski resorts. Thanks for having us!

The hotel itself was just okay, but the front counter staff were amazing. The young girl made coming back at the end of each day a pleasure. A smile, friendly attitude and positive energy really go a long way.

The fire exit on the fourth floor is blocked off and being used for storage. If there’s a fire, the only way out is through the window, 9/11 style.

Winter brings in lots of visitors from overseas, especially people coming to ski. It's a really nice, popular spot.

The staff were great, though the hotel is a little away from the action. The rooms and building feel old and worn, and there was a bit of a smell.
