Starry

The rooms and location were just right. Naoko, Eiichi, and Taro were excellent hosts, always accommodating and full of useful knowledge. Highly recommend!

The ski-in, ski-out access was fantastic, and there are great restaurants nearby. We had everything we needed at Starry, plus boot warmers, a cooking area, and hot showers. Naoko and her lovely team were welcoming and helped us check in very late after our delayed flight. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back.

We loved the contemporary apartment. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we could need. Most places were an easy walk away. Naoko and her husband were so helpful, even driving us to and from the shops, bus station, and local onsen. We didn’t expect that, especially since it was early in the season and they may have had time to help. We’ll recommend it to friends and family, and hope to return soon.

The gondola and chairlifts are only seconds away, and I loved skiing right to the back door. The place is outstanding and incredibly comfortable, with staff and customer service that are beyond exceptional. It’s pricey, yes, but worth every yen. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else now. Best ski accommodation I’ve ever had!
