Kyukamura Noto-Chirihama

We liked the buffet meals, the yukata, coin laundry, free wifi, and all the yummy omiyage. The staff were also very careful about sanitizing and having guests wear masks and gloves during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our young child had fun with the Colombian hammocks on the 3F and the wooden toys on the 2F. Finding the moon telescope was hard. We had to go down a long, dark hallway and cross a pitch-black bus parking lot, then there was no staff at the observatory. Reaching the telescope meant climbing a dark, winding staircase, and by then my 5yo was spooked and wanted to go back. It would help to make the viewing area easier to find. I also wish the windows were cleaner. I understand the sea air and nature take their toll, and the outside of 3F windows may be difficult to reach, but the ground-floor windows should get regular cleaning.

The buffet at both dinner and breakfast was fantastic. It was a great place for a family, and the room worked well for small kids to crawl around in. All the services and reps were so nice, attentive, and polite whenever they helped us.

The staff were friendly and did their best to help. Just be aware that the bathrooms are public. If bathing around other people makes you uncomfortable, try going earlier in the afternoon or later, before midnight, when it’s less crowded.

quiet, beautiful place. the beach is close, nice for a walk. i spent the weekend using the onsen and had a fantastic dinner. a lovely place for a good moment.
