The food was nicely balanced and really tasty, especially the Japanese dessert. Dinner came to my room and was set by the window, which made for a relaxed evening. I came in from elsewhere in the prefecture to unwind, and the old-fashioned look of the whole hot spring town brought back a calm, nostalgic feeling. The buildings are old but well cared for. The water was clear and smooth, with a faint hot spring smell, maybe. It felt rich in minerals, and since it was still hot outside, the bath was kept below 40°C, which was comfortable. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. I appreciated the hospitality and would like to come back when I need a rest.
