The price was low, the host let me check in early, and the food was nice. Still, if I had to choose again, I’d pick one of the newer hotels nearby. The place felt unsettling when I arrived, with dim lighting and little life in the building. Abandoned hotel buildings nearby added to the bleak feeling, and there was an unpleasant smell by the first-floor toilet. There’s no bathroom or sink in the room, so you have to leave it to shower or brush your teeth. Compared with a modern hotel, it didn’t feel very clean, with dirt, dust, and spider webs. Anyway, I found Hanamaki pretty boring to visit 🥲🥲🥲
