The rooms are small, though clean, comfortable, and laid out well for a short visit. We’ve found the experience dependable at different locations, which is useful when planning trips around Japan. The big draw for us is the onsen: an evening soak and a dip in the morning give the day a much more restful rhythm. Dormy Inn is our usual pick when it’s just the two of us. It’s affordable and practical, with thoughtful touches that make the stay feel like good value, without trying to be luxury.

I’m from Taiwan 🇹🇼, and this was a great stay. The food stood out, especially the breakfast and the free ramen served late at night. I also enjoyed unwinding in the onsen. Staff were really helpful, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended!

The room was on the small side, but it worked for me. The outdoor onsen was especially nice. They also had free soft drinks, juice, Yakult, and ice cream.

The public bath was clean and very good, and the room was a decent size for two, which we appreciated. We chose Dormy Inn because it’s near the station, and from there we had a leisurely walk to Himeji Castle. I’d consider staying here again on a return visit.

We were able to leave our bags at the hotel after checkout while we went to see Himeji Castle, which is only a short walk away. The location is handy for Himeji station too. There’s an onsen for guests, with free ice cream and popsicles afterward, and the tasty late-night ramen was another nice extra.
