We’ll remember this honeymoon stay for a long time. The lounge had snacks and drinks available all day, which we really appreciated, and the food was exceptional. Our room was spacious with a terrific view, and the staff were incredibly hospitable. Tamura-San went out of his way to make the meal service feel one of a kind. We highly recommend staying here.
8/10
The rooms were clean and roomy, and the food was good. It’s an older place, but it’s been well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Relaxing lounge-like areas with music and free drinks are part of the feel throughout the premises. The downside is that there’s no shower in the room, and hot water is in short supply.
8/10
The room needs better upkeep: there were sharp mirror edges and mold on the aircon. Still, dinner was pleasing, and in the morning they offered raw eggs to mix with rice. I wonder whether foreign guests are willing to try that. The place is quiet, the staff are friendly, and it looks out over Himeji city. The lounge has free coffee, tea, shochu, wine and juices, and you can grind beans by hand to make filter coffee yourself, which was an interesting experience.
10/10
We had a wonderful night view of Himeji city, and the club lounge had free drinks. The food was delicious and the service excellent. A very nice hotel for a reasonable price, especially if you're traveling with a rental car.
8/10
The room was good and the view was nice. Everything was very clean, and the course dinner at the restaurant was also very good. There was no Wifi, though, and the signal was poor.
