Candeo Hotels Osaka Hirakata

I really enjoyed the Sky Spa. I went in the morning and had it all to myself, which was so relaxing. The breakfast choices were a little more limited than we'd expected, but we were still very satisfied. Our room was spacious and comfortable. When we noticed the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, we asked about it in case there might be a charge. They checked quickly and moved us to an upgraded room.

It's about a 5min walk from Hirakatashi train station and a bus station, with the hotel above a shopping mall. A 7Eleven, Starbucks and McDonald's are also within 5min on foot, along with some nice places to eat and drink nearby, though those close around 10pm. Hirakata is a non-touristy Osaka suburb, around 30 min from Osaka and 25 min from Kyoto. The nearly new hotel had a clean, quiet, comfortable room with a good amount of space, everything we needed and a fantastic view. Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. There's coin laundry, and reception can give you change. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

I spent 13 days here in March 2025 and would happily return. The train station is right there, and being above a shopping mall made the location really convenient. My spacious, modern room was clean, with a mini fridge, a pour-over coffee setup and a window bench overlooking Hirakata. The front desk team were kind, helpful and fluent in English. I also liked the delicious buffet breakfast with its many Asian dishes, and the on-site laundry was handy.

The outdoor spa has a great view at night, and I loved looking out over the whole town. The view of Hirakata through the wide lobby window on the 19F was stunning too. My room was very nice and clean.
