The owner's English was fluent, and his family were delightful. We spent a night there as a family and absolutely loved the traditional, minimalist Japanese guest house, with its futons and sliding paper doors. It's a semi-rural spot reached by taking a bus up the hill, with beautiful views, a little brook winding through rice plots, and forested hills behind. We also saw lovely Sakura trees in blossom. There were old-fashioned Japanese board games, and I played Go with my son. Highly recommend it. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The garden was a lovely place to spend a slow morning reading, with the sound of the little river flowing by. The beds are comfortable, the place is nicely decorated, and there's a small shop. It's on the outskirts of the city, so it's quieter and good for relaxing. Would recommend.

The place is quiet and has a small garden, plus a living room with a piano where you can relax. The owner was friendly to talk with and gave us travel tips. It's clean, spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. There are two toilets and two showers, and the kitchen has free filter coffee as well as cheap ramen and drinks. Every room has a heater or air conditioning. Bus #29 stops about two minutes away on foot and takes 20 minutes to or from the center. The last bus from the center leaves at 11pm. We would've stayed longer if we hadn't needed to leave for the next town. If you don't mind taking a bus to the guesthouse, it's a really good option in Hiroshima.

The owner was friendly and very helpful, and speaks good English if you don't know Japanese. The house was clean and well equipped, and our room was comfortable. We really enjoyed staying in this quiet, relaxing location.
