The price, location, cleanliness, and safety were just what I look for, and this hotel worked perfectly for me. At check-in I was surprised the receptionist spoke English, and they were extremely helpful. I’ll come back when I visit Hiroshima.
The baths on the sixth floor were nice. The hotel has a traditional setup with tatami mats and futons. It was a little smoky, and the wifi was terrible.
The rooms have a nice, traditional Japanese feel.

The public bath, available only on Saturdays, was a good way to ease the day’s fatigue. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and staff service was polite. It’s an older building, but clean. You have to leave your shoes outside, and smoking isn’t allowed. There’s a convenience store next door, and more shops and restaurants along the way. The hotel is in a residential area about a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. I walked along the river and past the streetcar tracks, though the service was suspended because of construction on the route. I dropped off my luggage so I could be free of it as soon as possible, but there aren’t many places nearby to spend time before check-in. I also took a stroll to the large electronics store in front of the station. I think it’ll be fine once the streetcar service resumes. It was a very comfortable stay, and I’d like to use it again. 20251027
