There was a dead cockroach right in front of the room, so I wouldn't recommend this place. They also charge over 10,000 yen for a break, even though only a few cars were in the parking lot and just room A was listed as available. Is that really the case?

After arriving, I called the front desk from the phone and the staff came down. They were friendly, and the room had plenty of equipment and amenities. Signing up for a member card also brings various perks, including some free ones. This time I used the complimentary drinks, including alcohol, and noodle dishes, which were pretty tasty. It seems you can also book a free stone bath. The shower drain clogged and the water wouldn't go down. I contacted the staff and they quickly moved me to another room. The building is quite old in places, but keeping that in mind, I think it's a pretty good place.

I stayed in room 212 on a Friday night and appreciated the 5,900 yen flat rate for C-F ranked rooms, even on Fridays. The hotel is in Ibaraki City, is part of Best Delight Group, and has plenty of parking despite being close to the city. One thing to know: after choosing your room, you have to pick up the key at the front desk right next door, which could be uncomfortable if you don't like doing that. Some facilities look dated, but everything was very well kept and clean, even under the bed. I used the private karaoke and stone bath. The karaoke machine was a JOYSOUND F1; its screen was broken, but the rest worked fine and the sound was quite good. The stone bath was comfortable. There are member perks like free food and breakfast, so take advantage of them.

I'm grateful they let me change rooms even though I had a strange reason. As soon as I left room 301 and went downstairs to the second floor, the chills went away. There's something there. The room had excessive noise and so much hair in the bathroom that I found it disgusting and asked to move. I don't think I could have slept if I'd stayed.
