Koran no Yu Kinkouroh

The room was lovely, very clean, and had an excellent view. Everyone on staff was so nice. There’s a shuttle bus to and from JR Station, plus a free shuttle to the sand bath. I’d happily come back next time!

Getting around by public transport was quite easy for us, with either train or taxi, though a car would have been better. We rented electric bikes, and the employee said their batteries would last 60-80 km. On eco mode, one ran out after 12 km and the other after 23 km. Check the charge before setting off, or ask to take a charger. The hotel has an amazing view and the breakfast was delicious. The onsen was a bit outdated, but still pleasant. It was a great experience.

The room was great, with a spacious living area and its own outdoor bath. We also tried chicken sashimi at the restaurant, and it was delicious. My husband and I chose this hotel for our last few nights in Japan and for Valentine’s Day, and it was perfect. We got lost a few times, but the staff were immensely patient and kind. They even picked us up after we got off at the wrong train station. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Our room looked old, but it was clean and well kept. The ocean view was lovely, and we watched the full moon rise from the water, which was absolutely beautiful. The spa on the top floor was a perfect temperature for relaxing after a long day. No one else was there when we went, so it felt like we had the ocean-view spa to ourselves. Breakfast was just right, Japanese-style, with buffet drinks including coffee, tea, and juice. The staff were well trained, kind, and very friendly. I was very impressed. The hotel is just outside Ibusuki, so you'll probably need a car to get there. There’s almost nowhere to shop nearby, so we went into the town centre for snacks.
