The see-through layout gives the bathroom and outdoor bath an open feel, and the bath itself is comfortable. It’s a lovely place for a couple, though I’d think twice about going with a friend rather than an intimate partner.

A handy overnight stop after flying into Narita. The food was reasonable, there was all-you-can-drink beer, and the villa had an onsen pool.
