The clear night skies were my favourite part, with no noise or light pollution to get in the way of the sunset, full moon, and stargazing. I stayed four nights in October 2025 and enjoyed every second. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, though the choices felt pretty repetitive. Loved it.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were lovely and spoke very good English. We also joined several activities, which were a lot of fun. We’d stayed here about seven years ago, and on this return visit had two magical nights. The new management has made a great impression on us, with improvements in literally every aspect. We can 100% recommend this place 👍👍

The hotel sits amid beautiful nature, and the starry sky is something you really shouldn’t miss. It feels like a totally different world!

There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel, and most will pick you up for free. The hotel also backs onto one of the island’s nicest beaches. We visited in the down season and got lucky with the weather. Our room was spacious and clean, the staff were fantastic, and the buffet breakfast had both Japanese and Western options. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I’d highly recommend it.

The dinner buffet was great, with beer and awamori cocktails included. The hotel was packed with families during the holiday season, but the staff stayed professional and friendly the whole time. There were also free activities led by knowledgeable staff, and we had fun. If you’re after beautiful nature with a bit of a resort feel and you’re travelling with kids, this place could be a good fit. Great staff and location!
