We felt right at home in this warm, cosy place. The hosts were welcoming and patient, and easy to talk with. Our private room had a futon and was simple but really comfortable. This was the best place we've stayed on our three-week trip. If we'd known how much we'd like it, we might have stayed longer. We'd recommend it and book again if we return to Ise.

They offer free coffee, bread, and jam for breakfast, and there's a pleasant shared space to hang out with other guests. The hostel has both dorms and private rooms in a Japanese style. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I'd definitely book here again.

Tomomi, the owner, speaks English and was kind and ready to help with anything. The guesthouse has a lovely Japanese feel and suits backpackers well, with lots of Japanese restaurants nearby. Ask Tomomi about the sushi restaurant close by. It's a wonderful place, clean, nice, and inexpensive.

A lovely house with cozy beds and a huge shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most of the guests are Japanese, which made the stay feel immersive, and there's a minimart just through the block.

The staff were upbeat and seemed to enjoy chatting with everyone. The place is a renovated traditional Japanese house, and it has dorm rooms just for women.
