Jet and Lengge made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to help make our trip special. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean, and the private onsen was hot and relaxing. You book it when you arrive. We had such a comfortable, lovely stay at Episode Izu and wish we could've stayed longer. The location is good too, with the coast and shops within walking distance. Thank you so much!

This is a sweet little Victorian inn set up on a hillside, with ocean views from the balconies. The staff were lovely and spoke English fluently, which helped us a lot. We could walk to a few restaurants and a 7-eleven, and the private Onsen was a very welcome treat.

The host was quick to respond and shared useful suggestions, from tucked-away cafes to places worth seeing, which added a lot to our trip. Episode IZU is also clean and stylish, with all the amenities we needed and a hot spring. We found the location very convenient for public transport and local attractions, so exploring the city was easy. It's a comfortable place, and I'd recommend Episode for either a short getaway or a longer stay.

The free shuttle to and from the station was really useful. The Victorian-style house feels extremely cosy, and the staff are kind and efficient. It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. In a word, perfect 🤩🤗

I had a fantastic time at Episode Izu, even though my stay was brief. The lodge mixes North American architecture with Japanese hospitality in a way that made me feel at home. Its location is a great base for a trip around the Izu Peninsula, with sights like the beautiful coast and Mount Omuro to explore. I also loved relaxing indoors and soaking in the hotel's private onsen.
