Izu-Kogen Tent Resort

Our cabin was spotlessly clean and well cared for, with all the essentials. The bathroom and bathtub were especially comfortable and clean, and our two kids loved the loft, where they slept soundly. We stayed in Cabin M as a family of four: me, my husband, and our two children. The whole resort felt cozy and peaceful, with mountain and nature views that gave it a calm, zen atmosphere. We had a BBQ one evening and a campfire with marshmallows the next, which made things extra special for the kids. They also loved swimming at a newly opened nearby pool. My husband and I enjoyed the onsen, just a 3-minute walk away. The owner and staff were kind, courteous, and attentive throughout, always ready to help and making us feel welcome. As a mom, I found the stay relaxing and zen, while the kids had a fun, unusual experience full of meaningful activities. We also enjoyed simple nature walks that helped clear the mind. Restaurants and attractions like the capybara zoo and Mt. Omuro are nearby, so it's easy to explore. It was our first visit to Izu, and staying at Izu Kogen Tent Resort made it feel magical. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. This is an honest review, and we'd love to come back.
