Uminomieru Yado Sanpomichi

The room had a charming, almost fairytale feel, and the hospitality made me feel very at ease. The hot spring bath warmed me up nicely. Dinner was the highlight. The French food is carefully prepared, and the pan-seared sea bream and spiny lobster were especially tasty. There was a satisfying range of appetizers that paired well with drinks. It'd be a shame to stay here without having dinner. Breakfast included delicious homemade bread, and we were able to take some home. The sea bream rice was great too. I'd love to come back. The food was delicious, and the staff were so hospitable that I was very satisfied. It's also conveniently located a short drive from the sights. I'd like to return.

The view from the room was spectacular. Outside, the garden was beautiful and well cared for, and the rooms and interiors were spotless. The building has a retro Western-style pension look, but it's been renovated and is very clean. The meals were generous and packed with quality ingredients such as abalone, spiny lobster and truffles. The seasoning and cooking were exceptionally good. The service was incredibly kind and attentive, perhaps because it's family-run. I stayed here on a trip in November 2025, and would definitely like to come back.

We arrived just as the osmanthus was blooming. The air was so clean, with an elegant scent, and it made us feel great. The room was a little old, but clean, with a great view, and we had a lovely time. Dinner was the best part. The vegetables were delicious, the smoked duck was great, and the designer ice cream was amazing. It might be the best dessert I've ever had.
