The public bath is spacious, though some of the facilities are a bit old. The bed and pillow were too soft for me. The staff were very nice and helpful, and even though their English wasn’t good, they did their best to explain the rules. Public transport doesn’t make the location very convenient, but the hotel offers a shuttle to the station.

The seafood was fresh and the food was good overall. The beds are comfortable, and they’re made up while you’re out for dinner. It’s a relaxing place, with excellent hot spring water and a wonderful view. Some rooms look out at Mt. Fuji, and there are three different indoor hot spring sources. The outdoor bath has a great view of the stars when the weather is good.

There’s a good selection of onsen to choose from, and the bed setup was good. It’s a nice place to stay.

The kaiseki dinner was delicious, and breakfast was tasty too.

A wonderful, truly Japanese onsen, with great food!
