The rooms feel dated, but the setting is nice on top of a small hill, and on clear days you can see Mt Fuji. Some rooms face that way too, and the two outdoor onsens have great views. Dinner and breakfast were good, all-you-can-eat meals, though snow crabs cost extra.

For two people, ¥28,000 with breakfast and dinner was the best price I could find for a place with a view and a private open-air bath. That bath overlooking Mount fuji was the highlight, especially soaking in the brisk cool air. The food was all-you-can-eat, but pretty average, so don't expect much from it. Great hotel for an affordable price.

For the price, you can't beat the experience. The private open air onsen bath was incredible, and I spent all day and evening soaking while taking in the grassy mountain scenery. The views were amazing. The buffet was decent, though the crab legs were basic and not really for me.

We paid 10000¥ for one night, including a return bus to shinjuku, breakfast, an onsen with a view of Fuji san, and unlimited karaoke and ping pong. There was also an all-you-can-eat crab buffet with three extra local dishes: fish, clam, and a small lobster. The garden was beautiful, with an outdoor foot onsen. The rooms were rather old. We wanted tatami flooring but got beds instead, and they were average. There's no wifi in the rooms, though it's free in the lobby. I'd suggest going on a weekday to avoid big crowds. It's great value for a nice break from the city, as long as you don't expect a 5 star hotel. The area is full of nature and beauty, and one day wasn't enough to enjoy everything Shizuoka has to offer. I'd happily go back.
