Kohaku AMBER Kamakura Zaimokuza

The bath is spacious and a nice place to relax, and the house is clean. You get the traditional Japanese-style house to yourself. It's quiet around the property, and the room is calming. There aren't convenience stores nearby, but there are restaurants and shops with nostalgic storefronts.

Tadao was very kind and handled our requests, including a change to our check-in time, with care. The house feels thoughtfully put together, with high-quality furniture and equipment. The bed and sofa were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious, clean, and separate from the toilet. On the first floor there's an entrance and an area for washing your feet, then stairs up to the second floor, where the bedroom, toilet, and bathroom are.

There are no convenience stores close by, so it's best to sort out breakfast ahead of time. There are vending machines nearby, and we ate at Zaimokuza Terrace. The beach is very close, and we got to enjoy a morning walk and play in the sea right up until our 10 AM checkout. We were three, including one child, and arrived from Zushi after 9 PM. The email instructions made it easy to get in. Our child loved the staircase from the entrance washing area up to the second floor, which is handy after a day at the beach, and was excited about the stylish, clean room. The plumbing was state-of-the-art, including a jacuzzi in the bathroom, and everything was very comfortable. It seems to be a lovely old house that's been renovated.
