Wanderlust Inn

We booked the first-floor Japanese-style private room, and it was just right for our family of three, even though it's small. The futons were comfortable, and the showers felt great. Soaps and other supplies were provided, and there was an electric kettle in the room for morning coffee or tea. Check-in was easy, and it was definitely worth it. The location is handy too, with shops and cafes nearby and an easy walk to the station. Hase-dera and Kotoku-in are close.

The room had two regular beds and a bunk bed, and the modern renovation looked great. The bunk bed did wobble, though, so I might feel a little nervous sleeping on the top. There's a shared shower but no bathtub. Towels, soap, and toothpaste were provided, though there were no toothbrushes. It was comfortable and suited a casual trip well. Thanks! The location is convenient, very close to Hase Station on the Enoden Line and the Great Buddha. Dinner was a one-plate Okinawan meal with soft drinks included in our plan. Breakfast was toast, bacon, an omelet, salad, and a drink. Simple flavors, but tasty.

The room had a cute, detailed interior, and the old building reminded me of my grandmother's house. We could hear people in the neighboring rooms, but it was quiet at night. The door was hard to lock, though, which seemed to come with the older construction. Our room was a bit dim, so it wasn't great for putting on makeup. Still, it was good value for us since we only planned to go to the beach and sleep. There was no fridge in our double room, where my family of four stayed. We left the milk and yogurt for breakfast in the air-conditioned room. The shower and bathroom were shared, but clean and not a problem for us, and there was a changing room. We left our bags in the afternoon and went to the Great Buddha, then headed to the beach and checked in after 8 p.m. A foreign staff member greeted us in English and explained things clearly. They were very cute.
